About us
Founded by artist Jia Ran (佳冉), JIARAN is an artisan embroidery studio specializing in hand-crafted silk fans (团扇) and fine art embroidery. Drawing from traditional Chinese techniques while embracing the delicacy of French Haute Couture embroidery, our work bridges East and West — heritage and now.

Each piece begins as a vision. It takes dozens, sometimes hundreds of hours of meticulous hand-stitching to complete. Our signature butterfly fan series — featuring luminous wings rendered in silk thread — has become a beloved symbol of our studio: fragile, beautiful, and impossibly detailed.
